the GLENMORISTON ARMS HOTEL

Ailsa and Lachlan will warmly welcome you to The Glenmoriston Arms. They are passionate about the landscape that surrounds them, labelling the Glen 'the most peaceful and beautiful in the UK.'

The original hotel dates back to 1740, 6 years before the 'Battle of Culloden' when the building was originally a Drover’s Inn - a stopover point for farmers taking their cattle to and from the market.

In these earlier days, the hotel belonged to the Glenmoriston Estate for almost 300 years.

The hotel currently has 10 individually furnished rooms, a restaurant serving delicious homemade Scottish dishes and of course a bar - 'The Moriston Bar' - where the locals meet to relax.
